Our company RecruitLook.com stayed up late last night debating each picks. Here is what we came up with. Feel free to comment.

1.) Detroit Lions: Matt Stafford, QB, Georgia

They need a franchise quarterback and Stafford is the best on the board. He has a cannon for an arm, and can fit his tight spiral into those small NFL throwing lanes.

2.) St. Louis Rams: Jason Smith, OT, Baylor

I originally had Andre Smith (Alabama) here, but after his combine shenanigans he slipped. Smith had a tremendous combine, and the Rams need O-line help with the aging Orlando Pace entering his 13th season.

3.) Kansas City Chiefs: Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest

Curry is flying up every NFL team’s draft board. If the Lions weren’t desperate for a QB then Curry could’ve gone #1. The Chiefs recently let go of Donnie Edwards and former first rounder Derrick Johnson has yet to prove he is a top tier linebacker. Curry is a safe pick here and can play in both the 3-4 and 4-3 schemes.

4.) Seattle Seahawks: Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech

Seattle needs some playmakers. They have a good quarterback but he hasn’t had a decent wide out to throw at. Drafting Crabtree is an instant upgrade to Seattle’s offense.

5.) Cleveland Browns: Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas

The Browns need a little bit of everything on defense. I could see them selecting Eugene Monroe (OT). However, Cleveland had only 17 sacks last year and need a pass rusher. Orakpo is a freak that can pass rush and drop back.

6.) Cincinnati Bengals: Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri

I really wanted to go offensive lineman here, but with the departure of Cedric Johnson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, and possibly Chad Johnson the Bengals need offensive playmakers. Maclin is a receiver that can stretch the field and he returns kicks. Think Deshawn Jackson from the Eagles.

7.) Oakland Raiders: Eugene Monroe, OT, Virgina

The Raiders need to help JaMarcus Russell. With Crabtree and Maclin off the board the next best option is on the O-line. Monroe would be a nice fit to help the pass rush and run block for Darren McFadden.

8.) Jacksonville Jaguars: Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss

Starting left tackle Khalif Barnes is a free agent and the Jags need some help. Garrard ran for his life last year because the line was so poor. Oher would help protect Garrard’s blind side.

9.) Green Bay Packers: BJ Raji, DT, Boston College

The Pack have a nice thing going with their young offense. They were supposed to be a title contending team but their defense cost them some games. Raji’s stock soared after the combine workouts. His athleticism would be a nice addition to the Pack’s D-line.

10.) San Francisco 49ers: Mark Sanchez, QB, USC

The 49ers are in a tough situation here. They need talent at about every position except running back. They could go with Malcolm Jenkins, but they are in need of a franchise QB since Alex Smith didn’t work out. Playing in a weak division San Fran will win a few games to keep them out of contention for Colt McCoy or Sam Bradford next year.

11.) Buffalo Bills: Everette Brown, DE, Florida State

The Bills need some help on the edge. Brown can pass rush and is versatile enough to drop back on passes. Bills would like to take a TE here but there will be some good ones available in round 2.

12.) Denver Broncos: Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State

Denver could use a pass rusher but how can you pass up having Jenkins and Champ Bailey in your secondary. Denver could always seek free agency or wait to pick a DE in the second round.

13.) Washington Redskins: Andre Smith, OT, Alabama

Smith was projected as a top 3 pick this year….even a possible #1 before the combine fiasco took place. This is a value pick that the Redskins shouldn’t pass on. Jason Campbell needs protection and Smith is a great pass blocker. Plus Jon Jansen is getting up there in age.

14.) New Orleans Saints: Vontae Davis, CB, Illinois

The Saints were horrendous on defense last year. Their first 4 picks should be on defense. Davis lacks some football skills but you can’t coach speed…and he’s got lots of it.

15.) Houston Texans: Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU

The Texans would love if Jackson slid down to them in this spot. Jackson’s greatest strength is his pass rushing abilities. That will help free Mario Williams of all those double teams.

16.) San Diego Chargers: Brian Cushing, OLB, USC

The Chargers defense didn’t look the same without Shawne Merriman. They need some help to fill some holes. Cushing has great upside and would be a good replacement if Merriman departs for free agency after 2009.

17.) New York Jets: Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC

The Jets really wanted Sanchez and they might trade up to get him. If not, Maualuga is a nice pick here. Rex Ryan loves linebackers that can fly around the field and Rey is the right man for the job.

18.) Chicago Bears: Aaron Maybin, DE, Penn State

The Bears were hoping Brown or Orakpo would fall to them, because they were just an average pass rushing team last year. However, Maybin still is an excellent pick. He will boost the Bears pass rushing instantly.

19.) Tampa Bay Bucs: Chris Wells, RB, Ohio State

With the departure of Warrick Dunn, and the oft-injured Carnell Williams the Bucs need another running back. Remember what Beanie Wells did to LSU in the 2007 BCS title game? Wells will compliment Earnest Graham nicely.

20.) Detroit Lions: Percy Harvin, WR, Florida

The Lions spend another first round pick on a wide receiver. This time it should pay off. Harvin is a game breaker that will stretch the field for Calvin Johnson.

21.) Philadelphia Eagles: Knowshon Moreno, RB, Georgia

Brian Westbrook is getting old and will get hurt at some point in the season. Moreno would be a nice running back to split carries with Westbrook. If it weren’t for a poor combine Moreno could have been taken much higher.

22.) Minnesota Vikings: DJ Moore, CB, Vanderbilt

Moore is a shut down corner. Teams rarely would throw his way, and when they did it was an interception or a deflection. Vikings could use some depth with Antoine Winfield getting older.

23.) New England Patriots: Clay Matthews, OLB, USC

The Patriots can’t pass on what many call the best linebacker coming out of USC this year. Adding this versatile outside cover/rusher is a safe pick with tremendous upside.

24.) Atlanta Falcons: Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee

Ayers was a team captain that overcame erratic play to become a first round selection. The Falcons need some help with their pass rushing. Ayers might have some flags but if he pans out could be dominant.

25.) Miami Dolphins: Larry English, OLB, Northern Illinois

The Dolphins could use secondary help and a receiver, however; the value isn’t there this late in the round. English could play linebacker or defensive end for Bill Parcells.

26.) Baltimore Ravens: Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina

Nicks is a big fast wide receiver. He will give Joe Flacco another target opposite of Derrick Mason. Nicks has the potential to be the top receiver in this 2009 class…depending on Crabtree’s foot injury.

27.) Indianapolis Colts: Peria Jerry, DT, Ole Miss

Peria was a beast in Ole Miss’s bowl game against Texas Tech. Tech had one of the biggest lines in college football last year, but they couldn’t contain Jerry. The Colts are ecstatic Jerry is still available this late.

28.) Philadelphia Eagles: Jared Cook, TE, South Carolina

Most mock drafts have the Eagles taking Brandon Pettigrew, but Cook had a great season and an even better combine. Running one of the top 40s packaged with terrific hands means he is the first TE off the board.

29.) New York Giants: Darius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland

The Giants have a nicely balanced team…except at wide receiver. With Plaxico Burress possibly not going to be there next year the Giants need some help. Eli Manning’s numbers suffered without Burress’s presence. Heyward-Bey is a fast explosive receiver that could help their offense.

30.) Tennessee Titans: Alphonso Smith, CB, Wake Forest

Smith played hurt last year and still had an excellent season. He is a great cover corner and would make this strong defense even stronger. If the Titans can’t resign Albert Haynesworth look for them to draft a d-lineman.

31.) Arizona Cardinals: LeSean McCoy, RB, Pittsburgh

Tim Hightower filled in okay last year, but the Cardinals would love that home run threat and McCoy brings it. Edgerrin James probably won’t be back next year so the Cardinals have to take a back here.

32.) Pittsburgh Steelers: Eben Britton, T, Arizona

The Steelers biggest off-season issue is addressing their offensive line. They have four players on their line that will be unrestricted free agents. I think there are better players on the board, but you have to draft to plug holes.
